As a senior there is one thing that everyone wants to know about you, "What are your plans for after college?" The question is daunting, I have no idea what I will eat for my ext meal and people expect me to know what I am doing for the rest of my life. But recently through friendships and leadership in my life I am learning that life is not all about the here and now. Having an eternal perspective on what is to come after this life only brings peace. Knowing or not knowing what I will do in this life seems like such a minute comparison to what is to come in his kingdom.
Private Witt is a soldier that discovers the beauty of what the after life holds in the midst of a war. Regardless of the death and fear around them, he is the one bringing light and life into people's lives. His gentle look, soft eyes, meek grin all points to the faith that he has gained.
Life after the "best four years of my life" looks pretty exciting when I think about who I will be walking with. It puts the past to rest and the future remains unknown, but the anticipation is one that is driven by faith.
