I'm
a commuter student, and I live on the edge of the James River. In an
average week, I travel 60 miles alone just in crossing the bridge.
Because of this,
I
have experienced that bridge in nearly every weather condition
possible, from buckets of snow to pounding rain, hurricane force
winds, and fog so thick you can hardly see five feet in front of you.
Despite the terrors the weather can bring, it cannot match the
splendor of the sunrise and sunset on the James River. For me I
don't there there's anything that else that gives the visual sense of
majesty and awe invoking. Because I find myself traveling so much, I
use that time as reflection and prayer, but I find that nothing makes
me shut up and just revel in God's glory like the 5 mile drive
surrounded by such beauty.
