Timothy Keller wrote a book called, The King's Cross, that breaks down the book of Mark into different sections explaining Jesus' parables and why he lived his life the way that he did. I read a chapter every week and some girls and I get to hangout, discuss what we read, and apply it to our lives. This is honestly very hard for me because I hate getting personal, and I hate talking about my feelings. But after weeks and weeks of being together, I still do not enjoy it, but after forcing myself to talk about what I am going through or the lies I believe, it is somewhat freeing.
One of my favorite phrases that Tim uses is this idea he has of Dancing with Reality. He gives the picture right after Jesus was baptized (Mark 1:9-11). His basic point over his overwhelming point is that God the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are in a constant dance, a graceful beautiful dance. We humans can find beauty here on earth but it will not compare to what the trinity can do, how they are speerate yet support and intertwine with one another.
