I had the privilege of attending a music event at Regent University earlier this year. It was a worship gathering that was led by a team from Bethel Church in Redding, CA. Below I list some of my reflections on the experience I had.
There was an open heaven right when they started to worship. I felt so clean and free. All the anxiety was gone and I felt the pleasures of God over me as well as the freedom and simple joy of His presence. I closed my eyes and could see orbs of light and angels in the room and I felt like I was in an atmosphere of healing, peace, and refreshing.
I also went into a vision and saw something like a portal open up and I could see the great cloud of witnesses and hear the echo of their praises to the throne. It was such an awesome time of worship. I heard the Spirit whispering to me about how important the ministry of hope is. He said that hope is so powerful because it can never disappoint, it's not in the nature of hope to do such a thing.
I then breathed in a big breath and I began to experience something that I never have before. As I was breathing, it felt like the air that was entering into my lungs was holy. My sensory experience of the air was fuller than I think it has ever been when I've breathed in. I could feel it in my throat, taste it on my tongue, and smell it as well. It felt so fresh and life-giving. I then began to spontaneously sing a song "you fill my mouth with praise" and I felt joy surround me in that moment.
